The Taralye Parents and Friends Committee aims to encourage parent participation in the activities of the Taralye community.

 With the support of Taralye, Parents and Friends coordinate events where families can interact, communicate and socialise while raising much needed funds to assist with the regular maintenance and operating costs of the centre.

Annual events coordinated by the Parents and Friends include an Easter Picnic and Bush Dance. Local community door knock collections conducted by the Whitehorse Community Chest direct a proportion of funds to Taralye.
